The gates of the Westfalenhallen have closed, and we are looking back on two action-packed days from March 18 – 19 at SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK 2026. For SIEBTECHNIK TEMA, this year’s exhibition in Dortmund was more than just a product showcase – it was a vibrant hub for innovation, networking, and personal exchange.
Together with our sister company ALLGAIER Process Technology GmbH, we welcomed visitors to our shared booth in Hall 5.
Technology in Focus: Exhibition Models as Crowd-Pullers:
Nothing beats a hands-on experience. That is why we brought special highlights to Hall 5 this year, which generated significant interest at our booth:
- Elliptical Motion Screening Machine with STReAM: Our functional model allowed visitors to study the unique throwing motions of our elliptical screens. A particular highlight was the demonstration of STReAM – our innovative app-based monitoring system. Visitors could see firsthand how easy it is to monitor machine health and vibrations in real-time to ensure maximum uptime.
- Pulsator Jig: In modern processing, flexibility is everything. The model of our Pulsator Jig illustrated how high-efficiency sorting processes can be implemented in a modular and location-independent way – a topic that resonated strongly with our visitors from the recycling sector.
Dialogue at the Heart of the Event:
Booth L14 quickly transformed into a platform for dialogue. Whether discussing technical details directly at the models or diving into deep-tech conversations over coffee, the focus remained on finding individual solutions for our customers’ toughest processing challenges.
Stefan Bormann, Product Manager Screening Machines, summarized the experience:
“It is always impressive to see the enthusiasm our technology sparks when made tangible through scale models. The visitors’ questions regarding elliptical motion and mobile processing prove that our focus on modularity and precision is exactly what the industry needs right now.”
Insights from the Solution Center
Our presence was rounded off by a specialist presentation (from Stefan Bormann) in the Solution Center. Here, we elaborated on the theoretical foundations of the Multiple Deck Sizer (MDS) and demonstrated how thin-layer screening and energy efficiency are defining today’s industry standards.
