Perforated sheets
Perforated sheets are produced with similar openings at regular intervals by punching, drilling or milling. Any materials such as steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum and plastics can be perforated in almost any technically feasible geometry.
The perforated sheets can be produced with or without an unperforated edge.
Punched perforated sheets always have a slight conical widening on the punch exit side, creating a punching burr. Burr fineness can only be guaranteed by additional post-treatment.
Micro-perforated plates have made a significant contribution to solving difficult separation problems, e.g. with centrifuges, particularly in the chemical and food industries. Today, they complement fine sieve trays made of punched perforated plates and wire mesh for separation processes that require maximum precision and optimum permeability.
STEINHAUS supplies micro-perforated panels as plates and as segments of all types in dimensions up to 1000 x 1000 mm, with thicknesses from 0.07 to 0.75 mm.
The surfaces of the micro-perforated panels can be finished with hard chrome on request.
