SIEBTECHNIK TEMA supplies centrifuges for a large potash project in Belarus
The Belarusian mining company SLAVKALIY FLLC has selected SIEBTECHNIK TEMA to supply a centrifuge package for the separation of KCl for their new Nezhinsky mining and processing complex. The equipment will be delivered to the new facility, located some 180 kms from Minsk, in 2021. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The new potash plant, which uses potassium from the Starobinskoye potash deposit, has an output of up to 2.0 MT potassium chloride per year.
„We are pleased to be chosen by Slavkaliy to be part of this landmark mining facility. This award is based on technical and commercial grounds and underlines our competence in delivering package solutions. The high level of automation sets new standards in these applications.” said Dr. Reinhard Scholz, Managing Director at SIEBTECHNIK GmbH.
SIEBTECHNIK TEMA’s SHS pusher centrifuge is part of the package.
